One of the signature WalkBikeMarin projects is the Cal Park Tunnel Path project, which will connect San Rafael and Larkspur between Andersen Drive and Larkspur Landing Circle via a new multi-use pathway. This project includes reopening the Cal Park Hill tunnel and upgrading it for pathway use. The project will provide an outstanding nonmotorized transportation corridor that parallels Highway 101, and will improve access to the Larkspur Ferry Terminal from communities to the north.

This week, the bid process opened for the Cal Park Tunnel Path construction contract; competitive bids are expected back soon.
